Mr. Albert Antonio Izzo 94 a resident of the Van Allen Nursing Home in Little Falls since May 1998 and a former Howard Street, village of Dolgeville resident died Tuesday January 25, 2005 at the nursing home.
He was born in Dolgeville on April 25, 1910 the son of Angelo and Selonda (Fusco) Izzo and attended Dolgeville schools.
His marriage to the former Mary Louise Gigliotti took place on February 26, 1934 in Herkimer, NY. Mrs. Izzo predeceased him on December 28, 1961.
Albert was employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville, retiring from there in 1962 due to a disability.
He was a member of St. Joseph?s Church of Dolgeville and a former member of the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving him is a Sister Margaret Starrantino of Syracuse, several N & N, and his companion Mildred Harwick also of Van Allen Nursing Home, and his many friends at the Van Allen Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held in the spring in St. Joseph?s cemetery Dolgeville. There are No calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Roberts ? Buck Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
