Alan F. Leon, Sr.

FORT PLAIN – Mr. Alan F. Leon, Sr., passed away at the age of 70 on August 5, 2016 in St. Mary’s Healthcare, Amsterdam, surrounded by his loving family. He lived a very happy life watching his grandchildren Carl, Jayson, Savannah, and Brianna. He loved to garden and fill everyone’s heart with joy when around them. He was educated in St. Johnsville, and he last worked at Keymark, Fonda, NY. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Leon of Fort Plain, along with his six sons, Alan Leon, Jr., of Johnstown, NY, both Edward Leon, Sr. and James Leon of St. Johnsville, NY, Harold Leon of Canajoharie, NY, Richard Leon of Herkimer, NY, and Chuckie Leon of Fort Plain, NY, his daughter, Michelle and her husband Eric Neff of Salisbury, NY. His grandchildren, Casandra and her husband Shad Morrello of Fort Plain, NY, Sarah Leon, Chris Leon, Eddie Leon, Alyana and her husband Joe Marriott, Nicole Leon, Michael, Felicity, Tiabus, Trevor, and Tyler Leon. And many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother and father, grandma, and grandpa, and his grandchild, Naiomi. A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday August 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls, NY with Rev. David Johnson officiating.
