A Farley

Reva Farley, 50, a resident in the Town of German Flatts, loving wife of Thomas Farley, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2003 in her home. She was born on September 23, 1953, in Utica, a daughter of the late Raymond Sheerin and Gertrude (Aniceto) Sheerin who resides in Ilion. She received her education in Herkimer and Little Falls schools and has resided in the town of German Flatts for 15 years. She was united in marriage to Thomas Farley, Sr., on October 12, 2003 in Frankfort. She was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the V.F.W. Auxillary Post#4915. Most importantly, Reva was a very devoted family woman, who was generous with the time and affection that she gave to her family and friends. She had many friends and all those who knew her were touched by her kind and generous spirit. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time on the computer. She leaves her beloved husband Thomas of German Flatts, two sons, Dean Fischer of OH and Jeff Cook of New Jersey, four daughters, Sue Slabe of Ilion, Samantha Cook of Ohio, Laura Cook of Ohio and Jennifer Cook of Ohio, five sisters, Shary Sheein of North Carolina, Karen Slocum and husband Lee of Herkimer, Angel Sheerin of Camden, NY, Jacleen Fifeld and husband Mike of New Hartford and Jewel Stafford and husband Ron of Ilion, sons in law, Thomas Farley, Jr. and wife Lauri of North Carolina and Michael Farley of North Carolina, daughter in law, Julie Wine and husband Mike of Alaska, sisters and brothers in law, Mary and Joe Sanganetti, James and Elaine Farley, Peg Orendorff, Jean and Ron Wilson and Cindy and Roy Gengler, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves her three beloved dogs, Buster, Bear and Star. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Ilion and Frankfort on Friday, November 14, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. Reva's funeral will commence at 11 am on Saturday morning, Nov. 15, 2003 from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, Ilion/Frankfort, with Pastor Jack Cogar, officiating. Procession will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Utica where she will be laid to rest.
