LITTLE FALLS - Paul Richard Klock of Little Falls, NY passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2025.
Paul was born in Little Falls, NY on August 24th, 1938, the son of D. Richard and Alice (Munger) Klock. He graduated from Dolgeville Central School District, Class of 1957. He attended Cornell University before serving in the United States Army from 1959-1962. While serving his country, he was stationed in both Alaska and Texas. Paul returned home in 1962 to fulfill his true calling of farming.
On October 10, 1959, Paul married the love of his life and devoted partner, Barbara A. Chuck, daughter of August and Clara Chuck, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Little Falls. Together Paul and Barbara operated a successful dairy farm for over 60 years. During this time, Paul earned the reputation as a prominent and respected farmer in Herkimer County. He served as president of the Dolgeville Dairy Cooperative and was on the board of trustees for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. His knowledge of agriculture and his willingness to learn and try new methods in the field of dairy herd management led to many achievements. He was known as a man of character and would willingly help neighbors and fellow farmers in need.
Paul enjoyed snowmobiling and was a founding member of the Putt-Putt Snowmobile Club. During his tenure with the club, he helped develop and maintain local trails and promoted snowmobile safety. He converted to Catholicism later in life and was a member of Holy Family Parish.
In addition to his parents and in-laws, Paul was predeceased by his brother Gary Klock, son-in-law Joseph Micozzi, and beloved daughter, Dawn Marie Douglas.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Barbara and their daughters: Donna Micozzi of Milford, NH, Denise (Paul) Murphy of Quincy, MA, and Darlene (Joseph) Budzich of Buffalo, NY; son-in-law James Douglas of Little Falls, NY; eight grandchildren Marisa (Mitchell) Duncan, John (Allie) Micozzi, Olivia and Tyler Douglas, August and Elsie Murphy, Alice and Henry Budzich; two great-grandchildren Joseph Duncan and Travis Paul Douglas; his beloved cousin Ruth Mavis of Syracuse, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the employees of the Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the patient and compassionate care given to Paul. In addition, the family thanks the close friends who helped and supported Paul and Barbara for the past few years. It was greatly appreciated by their family.
A private graveside service will be held at the Rural Park Cemetery in Ingham Mills, NY at a later date.
