ST. JOHNSVILLE - Mr. Gary L. Tredeau, age 79, a longtime resident of State Highway 29, St. Johnsville, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday morning May 22, 2015 at the Folts Homes in Herkimer, NY.
Born on November 12, 1935 in Candor, NY, Gary was the son of the late Roy Everett and Luella Arlene (Quick) Tredeau. Gary was blessed with a mild manner; extremely intelligent and loved to read. He had a passion for the outdoors; enjoying time spent in the woods and was known to be an avid trapper, hunter and bee keeper. He was a faithful friend to many and considered his friendships to be of primary importance and significance and will be truly missed by his loyal friends.
He is survived by his children, Cathie Mills, Stacie Moore, Todd, Cristie, Leslie and Nickie Tredeau; a sister, Gay Guellick and husband Bob; special friends, the late Joanne Christman, Alexander Christman, Ira Duesler and Doug Lansburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street, St. Johnsville, NY (518)568-2300. Friends and relatives may pay their respects from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY.
