David R Lozo

Ilion: David R. "Peewee" Lozo, 63, of Ilion, passed away in Mohawk Valley Health Care on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. David was born in Ilion on August 12, 1946, a son of the late David R. and Florence (Blaise) Lozo. He was educated in Ilion schools, graduating with the class of 1964. He was last employed at Motronics in Little Falls. David is survived by his son: Todd Lozo and his wife Theresa of Ilion; daughters: Tracy Loomis and her husband Kevin of Chandler, AZ, and Melissa Burns and her husband Jon of Mohawk; a brother: Bill Lozo and his wife Mary of NJ; a sister: Beverly Sweeney and her companion Tom Matthews of Ilion; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his uncle: Gene Blaise and his wife Ruth of Herkimer; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 5-7 PM at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, between Ilion and Frankfort (894-8000). His funeral will be conducted by Deacon James Bower at the conclusion of calling hours, also at the funeral home. David will be interred in the spring at Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion.
