ILION - Mrs. Lois J. Hill, age 78, a lifelong Mohawk Valley resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 21, 2024, at The Grand at Mohawk Valley where she has resided for the past six years.
Born in Little Falls on November 9, 1945, Lois was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Emma (Shulenberg) Barney. She was raised and educated locally and attended St. Johnsville Schools. She shared in a marriage with the late Melvin Hill, who passed away in 2018.
Lois is survived by her children, Michael Hill and Heather Waller and their families.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate funeral directors. Online notes of sympathy may be left at www.eneafamily.com .
