Barbara Jane Gray, 55, of St. Johnsville, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, April 4, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY, with her loving family by her side. She was born December 11, 1952, in Ilion the daughter of Robert & Alamyra Coffin. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School. Then left New York with her husband Carl R. Gray, Jr., on their 21 year military journey in the US Navy. She held many jobs along the way from store manager to area manager for a large convenient chain. She currently worked for Richardson?s Manufacturing of Canajoharie for the last 14 years as line supervisor. Barbara is survived by her husband and best friend, Carl R. Gray, Jr. They were married on May 23, 1970, having three loving children, Carl R. Gray, III of Fort Plain, Kelly (Chris) Mayton of St. Johnsville, and Robert (Jessica) Gray of Chicago, Ill., 15 wonderful grandchildren, Walter, Tyler, Christopher, Chloe, James, Barbara, Nick, Eric, Patricia, Ben, Jessica, Jeremy, Simon, Caleb, and Vicki, as well as seven caring siblings, Roy (Marcia) Coffin, David (Ellen) Coffin, Robert (Debbie) Coffin, Sherwood Coffin, Helen (Kevin) Butts, Alice (Eric) Gottenburg and Dorothy (Jimmy) Palazzo. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Lynn Coffin and a grandchild, Skip Coffin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 9, 2008 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Burial will follow at West St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday April 8, 2008 from 5-8 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to Bassett Healthcare, Hannahlee House, 1 Atwell Road, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
