Arthur Anthony Ciociola

LITTLE FALLS-Mr. Arthur A. ?Art? Ciociola, Sr., 78, of Little Falls, died August 26, 2007. He was born in Little Falls on September 9, 1928, son of the late Michael and Congetta (Latorre) Ciociola and graduated from Little Falls High School. He served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1952 and then served with the Reserves until 1954. In 1954, Arthur was united in marriage with Gloria Tretola in St. Johnsville. His last professional employment was with International Computers Ltd., Utica, and was formerly employed by Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome. Art was communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls and a member of the DeCarlo-Staffo Post #8, ITAM. Mr. Ciociola is survived by his wife Gloria of Little Falls; a son: Arthur Ciociola, Jr., and wife Kate of Connecticut; two daughters: Congetta Carrig and husband Dan of Mohawk and Corinne Baker and husband Alan of Manlius; two sisters: Natali ?Dolly? Constanza of Dolgeville and Josephine McCumber and husband Robert of Little Falls; his grandchildren: Chad and Sean Carrig, Eric and Ryan Baker and Michael and Elizabeth Ciociola; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters: Anna Cascia and Angeline Vedovati and by three brothers: Patsy, Albert and Ralph Ciociola. In respecting his wishes, there are no public calling hours and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
